Kings or Queens...?

Last week I was playing a poker tournament in a casino... I had A♠Q♠ so I raised. We were so close to the final table!!...

My boyfriend's boss re-raised me 5K more and I called. The flop comes 2♥2♠Q♥. I bet 8K and he goes all in.I had him covered by 16K more, so I called.

He had K♥K♣!! No more Q's or Aces on the board, but I'm still thinking... How could he raise like that? I could have had Queens in my hand, making it 3 of a kind with the Q on the board... Actually, Full House with the pair of deuces.

I still can't get it out of my head...

Honesty 100%

The whole intention was to go buy some food and have dinner ready by the time my boyfriend got home, but somehow, it was not even close!!

I went straight to the kitchen and look for my phone to sign in on the msn and ask him what time he was coming... It wasn't with the root beer, it wasn't with the chicken, OMG!! It wasn't in my purse either!!

I ran to the neighbor ans asked her for the phone, I called a taxi to go back to the supermarket and find the taxi that drove me home.

He wasn't there, and the guy was new... Nobody knew who he was! I did almost faint. I could feel my heart in my head and the lights went off for a moment. I called my boyfriend was not very understanding at the moment about how worried I was, but he called me back and said the taxi driver was on his way back to the supermarket to give it back to me.

When you find a little honesty in a human been, it can be as shocking as winning a huge pot in a cash game.

How lucky was I, huh??

A new job/hobbie

Working for a poker site was the most exciting experience... I learned a lot. And I must admit it; what I miss the most is being there with my girl friends, playing poker, talking about fashion, and learning from each other.

But in life as in poker, "shit happens", and now I'm here to teach and learn. Poker? Of course! But besides that, from life.

So I started this blog to keep in touch with poker players who have learned as me, from a friend, boyfriend or girlfriend, how to play poker.

(We all started with play money chips)
